You will find a unique selection of modern and contemporary fabrics, as well as handpicked gifts, notions and supplies you won’t find in other shops in this area. Our fabric lines include Andover, Cloud9, Cotton + Steel, FreeSpirit, Robert Kaufman, Moda and many more. We also carry fabric from designers such as Tula Pink, Alison Glass, Carolyn Friedlander, Tim Holtz, Heather Bailey and more.

Our fabrics and products are hand selected by owner Karis Hess at International Quilt Market and from small fabric houses around the world. Karis’ line of handbag and accessory sewing patterns, CloBird Designs, are available for purchase at CloBird.com. They are chock full of photographs to accompany the detailed instructions. Fabric and hardware kits are available for some of the patterns at The Modern Sewist. These make great gifts for the sewist in your life!
